From January to July 2012, I participated in the News21 project, funded by the Carnegie Corporation and the Knight Foundation and hosted at the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, reporting on voting rights across the country.
- I wrote a story about Republicans’ efforts to tighten voting laws in Maine, and the pushback that occured: College Student Surprised to be Targeted for Voter Fraud
- I took the lead in collecting the data for a news app on the percentage of voting-age American citizens who report having voted: Who Votes in America?
- I was one of four lead contributors to a database that sought to gather all voter fraud cases that occurred in America since the year 2000: Election Fraud in America
- I was one of three contributors to the story on the database’s findings: Comprehensive Database of U.S. Voter Fraud Uncovers No Evidence That Photo ID Is Needed
